Speech Why video games are good for you

  You know that feeling, (pause) the feeling where you are so close to beating a game, (pause) that moment when you are on the last level, but someone tells you to get off saying "Video games are bad for you, stop playing." But are video games actually bad for you? No, no they are not. In fact video games can actually benefit you in a LOT of ways. It it helps you socialize more, it improves reaction speed, and believe it or not actually HELPS your eyesight/vision, with way more benefits than I listed already. And if people try to say games are bad then they are wrong. Games don't rot people's brains or damages eyes in any way. That's just a theory/myth. Games are actually good for you and not bad.

More math with trains

So it is basically saying the last car goes in and it takes 30 seconds for it to go out.

The train is 1km long so we need to subtract that from the size of the tunnel. So 3 km - 1 km = 2 km.
So it takes 30 seconds to travel 2 km. So to make that into a minute 30x2=60 and 2x2=4 so every minute the train travels 4 km.

Now we do 1x60=1 hour  4x60=240 per hour. So the train travels at 240km/hour

The art. Thing. With the pictures you need to judge.

Think about the meaning and purpose of the exhibition and the artwork. Ask yourself the following questions:

• "Why are the art pieces ordered or arranged this way?"
• "Does a particular artwork stand out from the rest?"
• "Is there a theme or a subtext to the exhibition?"
• "How is this exhibit different from others I've seen?"

- I think the art pieces are arranged this way because it goes from colour to gray. Since the first 2 pictures are full of colour but then it goes to a non colourful picture.

- I like the second one. It stands out since its not a realistic picture but just a really nice painting. A painting about 2 people walking.

- I don't think that there is a specific theme to this but if there was a theme to this it would probably be people.
- I never really seen another exhibit.

Take notes on the elements that interest you. If a particular artwork or artist stands out to you, take more detailed notes on that topic since it will most likely be something with which you have a personal connection.

- In the second picture, I really like the colours used and the style of making it. While the other 2 are just pictures taken this one is an actual painting. The style of it is unique compared to the others. It may seem like it is just 2 people walking but it is not. In my opinion paintings are not only about what stands out. It is about how much effort was put into it. About the whole thing itself and not just the small detail that stands out. The painting was well done and has really high detail everywhere. On the bench, trees, pathway, overall just really good.

If I were a superhero...

If I were a superhero I would be that robot... the blue one.

Megaman is not really from a tv series but he has a manga (comic book series) and he is from a game which technically counts since Mario is a superhero since he saves someone and Megaman can count as a superhero too since he goes to stop a villain...

The reason why I want to be Megaman is because when you destroy your enemy you could take their powers like in the games, which would be really cool due to you basically absorbing your enemies powers and then beating them at their own game. Megaman has more than just that. He has a dash/slide which allows him to maneuver through tight spaces. He also has a hand cannon (aka the mega buster) which allows him to shoot from up to 3 different types of solar energy. He has a weak shot that you can spam like crazy, a regular shot that takes around 1-2 seconds to charge up which shoots a small plasma line or a small energy ball, and his fully charged shot which shoots a giant ball of energy which does a high amount of damage. He has an uppercut too. But the best thing of all is rush coil, Megaman's dog sidekick thing. He can turn Megaman into Jet Megaman which is basically giving Megaman the power to fly for a certain amount of time and can turn Megaman into Power Megaman which allows Megaman to punch everything. He can also find certain things if it is buried and can give Megaman a huge jump boost, this is why I like and want to be Megaman.

1- The benefits of a green smoothie depends on what you put in it, but it's basically pure nutrition. For example if you put some things like blueberry it would help you stay healthy as blueberry helps get rid of diseases. Drinking green smoothies is a great way to get all of those veggies and fruits into your body. Since it's more easier to drink than to eat. And it's also faster so instead of eating all those veggies all you need is a green smoothie. It ca. Also be a way to get energy and you could also lose weight by drinking it.

Project Eye

So this is my eye drawing. How I did it was from a picture I found online and from a video Mr. Cheney showed all of us.

That's what it was based off of. The eyeball specifically. The eyelashes were fully me because I had trouble setting it up based off of a video or a picture so i chose to do it on my own. The red vein sort of thing was because I decided to make it seem a bit more realistic after the eyelashes. I also added a shade of blue in the eye because I wanted it to be a bit more colorful. I really hate the only black and gray and white sort of thing, so I wanted to add a little color so I put the blue.

This is my first attempt on my eye.
